New Apiary project underway

Located on the Jefferson Street corridor, the Apiary is a catering kitchen and tasting room which will expand into an event space/restaurant. Much of the 3/4 acre site will be green space, including courtyards and a productive garden. The 3,000 s.f. commercial kitchen has been completed, and the next phase is coming soon.

LEED AP certification for Rc3

In June, Craig Rushing of Rc3 passed the LEED AP exam (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional). Since 2001, the LEED AP credential has been recognized as a mark of significant achievement, distinguishing those who passed the exam as leaders in the green building industry. Craig hopes to apply this certification to his work in both the architectural and construction fields.

Rushing acquires Florida architecture license

In January 2009, Craig Rushing of Rc3 acquired his license to practice Architecture in the state of Florida. Having traveled to Florida since 1967, and having lived in Ft. Myers, Fl from 1997 to 2000, Craig has a lifetime love of the state’s natural beauty and it’s architecture. Craig has designed several buildings in the Southwest Gulf region, Key West, and won a national award for the design of Hope Lutheran Church in Bonita Springs, FL while employed by Sheeley Architects in Ft. Myers, FL.
